The salon was founded by Marina Costa-Lopes and Devon Park in the autumn of 2003, in a single storefront overlooking the harbor. Twenty-one years and one pandemic later, the same address still holds — the high ceilings, the original tin tiles, the late-afternoon light that slips across the styling stations around four o'clock every winter afternoon.

Three Newbury Street cycles have come and gone in the time we've been on the boulevard. What keeps our clients returning, by their own telling, is not novelty. It is tenure — an average of 7.4 years per stylist, more than three times the industry norm — and the kind of unhurried, meticulous craft that a destination address allows.

Today the team numbers thirty-eight, including eleven Redken Master Colorists and three CIDESCO-certified estheticians. The booking system holds more than 14,200 active client profiles. The story, however, remains small: two founders, one address, twenty-one years.
