The Seaport Salon & Day Spa began in 2003 as a two-chair studio above a fish market on Seaport Boulevard. Twenty-one years later, it is a 38-person house of stylists, estheticians, and therapists who share a single conviction: that great hair, skin, and bodywork deserve the same unhurried attention, the same rigorously curated product shelf, and the same kind of quiet room.
Our hair team includes eleven Redken-certified colorists. Our skin team counts three CIDESCO-certified estheticians among its senior practitioners. Every stylist on the floor completes a minimum of forty hours of continuing education each year — more than triple the industry standard. The product wall carries eleven prestige houses, including Seaport-exclusive lines unavailable anywhere else in Boston.
We are not a medical spa. We do not perform injectables. What we do, we do with our hands, our training, and a product line we would use on ourselves.

Chapter One · Hair
Hair is the discipline that opened the doors in 2003 and remains the salon’s largest chapter. Every colorist on the floor holds Redken certification; our average stylist tenure is 7.4 years, three times the industry norm.
Signature Service
A 2.5–4 hour bespoke color session with a Redken Master Colorist, including bond-building Olaplex treatment, custom gloss, and a finishing blowout. Hand-painted or foil work, photographed for your file.

Nails & Hand Care
A dedicated nail studio separate from the main salon floor, with vented tables and hospital-grade sterilization on every implement. Gel, traditional polish, and restorative nail treatments.

Chapter Five · The First Visit
For first-time clients, tourists stepping off a harbor cruise, and Fort Point neighbors walking over: here is how the hour is spent, start to finish.
Book online or by phone with our concierge desk. You will receive a confirmation email, a brief intake form (skin sensitivities, prior color history, preferred pressure), and a calendar invite. Same-day appointments are accommodated for 86% of booking requests.
Check in at the second-floor reception. You will be offered a complimentary beverage from the lounge menu — sparkling water, loose-leaf tea, or a small espresso — and given a few minutes to settle into one of the window seats overlooking the marina.
Your stylist, esthetician, or therapist will walk you through a written consultation before any service begins. Pricing is confirmed before the chair reclines. Bridal and color correction consultations are complimentary and last 30 minutes.
Settle at the front desk; receipts are emailed within the hour. Validated parking is available in the 487 Seaport garage next door — ask for a validation sticker at checkout. Late cancellations within 24 hours are charged 50% of the service.
